As I've said before I ALWAYS LOVE a good Wedding; they are a time to celebrate, enjoy yourselves & make the most of spending time with both friends and family and even a chance to meet new ones. Having a sibling Wedding though, makes it that little bit even more special. So when my brother’s wedding came around, I was MORE than over excited about it. Like with all Weddings they start off feeling a million miles away, but then all of a sudden, they seem to creep up on you…& bang your there in the midst of it.

I did my usual thing of being undecided on my outfit choice (see previous blog for my choices), so instead I took a couple of choices with me. It also meant that what the weather decided to do on the day, didn’t completely affect my outfit as I was armed with a more than one choice. #bonus……. This multiple choice idea can be a good or bad thing for me though, depending upon how decisive I am on the actual day. This particular day though I was feeling totally decisive, the weather was on best behavior, and the Wedding Crew were all on TOP party FORM!!!

My outfit choice on the day was a dark grey body-con halter neck dress, with a delicate lace top and peplum hem – from ASOS. As was my hair piece which included a diamond hairband and pearl necklace type back piece, which fell down the back of my head. My shoes were from my absolute favorite designer – Irregular Choice and were a multitude of pastel colours, a complete contrast to the dress, which is why I chose them (with the combined help from my fashion jury…aka Oli & Charlie - who says boys know nothing about fashion!!!). I loved this dress for a few reasons, because the fabric itself was super flattering as well as being ultra comfortable, but also because it was not very me in terms of colour. Normally I tend to go for bright and out there styles but this wasn't my day and I wanted to try something different and try subtle, after all sometimes its all in the detail that counts more than the wham bam of it!!!

My husband looked particularly handsome in a navy-blue tuxedo suit which I only brought for him two days before the big day – again from ASOS. He teamed it up with a simple white shirt and black bow-tie – totally Bond-esquire (you really can't go wrong!!)!! He looked fantastic. Men really can really blag it sometimes, in terms of last-ditch saloon, I love that but also know that I am no good at it. Although saying that I only did a wedding dress fashion show for him the Thursday night before the Wedding so that could have ended in tears!!

Even Charlie looked red carpet smart for the occasion, he wore a pale blue three-piece suit with matching tie and a pale pink shirt. He looked cool as a cucumber, although being a teenage boy the ‘smart attire’ did not last too long especially with all the ‘fun games’ the bride and groom had planned for everyone. Soon the suit was covered in grass stains and muddy knees, but who cares when you’re a teenager and having fun right?!?!? #noone I can't wait till he's 18 and is all about the 'caring what people think / what's cool and what's not' stage in life...I for one am well past that stage in life!!! lol.......

Of course I have to mention the main event in terms of, well…. everything including the much-anticipated question of ‘what they wore?’. So Rich didn’t let the side down at all, he totally empowered & at the same time celebrated colour, proving that a man’s only available choice in suit is not just black, blue or grey but that it can be whatever you want it to be. I've never thought that he'd ever really been one to shy away when it comes to colour, he's often worn a bright t-shirt or suited shirt to a family event and I think that this helps emphasise his dark hair and pale skin. The fact that he was also able to find shoes which were embossed with a ‘Star War’s' print on them just demonstrated his dedication to the cause and to finding his perfect outfit, to go with his perfect day. Kathy you've certainly found your perfect 'Mr Geek' ;-)

After being serious in all these photo's I could not resist making at least one silly face with the Groom.......

My now sister-in-law Kathy wore a beautiful white wedded No, with a classic yet delicate lace halter neck top section and a long floor length pleated skirt. Even with the floor length style we were still able to catch a glimpse of the 'f**king EPIC' (my terminology only!) heels she adorned underneath.......Irregular choice of course!! I wanted to high five her half way down the isle, but I managed to refrain my childish urge!!!

She really did look utterly glorious and oozed a beautiful glow which shone throughout the whole day, and I know it may sound cheesy and so cliché, but that's what happiness and a feeling of complete content does to a person, especially a lady on her wedding day...one of the biggest day of their lives!!

Her three bridal besties did not let her down either, they all radiated beauty and looked utterly amazing in their array of colourful and exotic dresses, each one of them accentuating the other and their own unique styles and personalities. Although each dress was different they all in turn complimented the other as well as the bride herself, it was a total triumph in terms of styling and really stood out on the day too.

This skirt was later transformed into not one, but two other variations as the day progressed into the evening and then the night-time. The first was a pastel blue midi skater skirt which matched perfectly with the colorings already revealed throughout the day and accentuated her dark hair and pale skin, the high waisted style also created a beautiful silhouette. She looked truly wonderful and radiated a euphoria of happiness. I could not of been happier for her if I had tried.

Yet no skirt change could be complete without a combining shoe change…which they both rocked, literally. I mean if you can rock hi-tops at your own wedding, you've literally made it in terms of creme de la creme style and ab fabness, combined with the fact that these hi-tops also housed their own private disco party of lights created another level of coolness.

Check out these couple goals.......

Last but by no means least we have the third outfit assemble of the day. This was a purple midi tulle skirt which was also teamed up with a divinely glittering cropped jacket. This was such a stellar choice to enter the disco / party stage of the night and also a perfect outfit to dance the night away in. Teamed together with the perfect footwear it meant nothing was stopping these two from partying into the early hours of the morning like pro Rock Stars.......

Then there was my sister, who was part of the grooms party, totally proving that any women can absolutely rock a three piece suit just as much as any man can. Although the cuteness award definitely went to our nephew Zach who although biasedly I have to say smashed it in his adorable outfit. To be honest these guys all looked fantastic in their matching blue suits and vibrant tie / buttonhole collaborations, it was a gorgeous touch to not just unite them in their special, unique roles together but to at the same time differentia them.

She also completely blew me away with her vocals during the traditional nuptials and signing of the marriage certificate. She was incredible and sang like an angel, weirdly this was the first time I had heard her sing live and although there was a lot going on I was still able to stare in awe at her. She was doing something she loved doing and enjoyed and to get this far was an absolute credit to her. She sang two songs and both sounded amazing, I literally could not believe how fantastic she sounded, I was so, so proud.

You can check her out at www.silvreofficial.com & @silvreofficial on Insta.....You will NOT be disappointed!!!

If Carling did siblings (& better halves), they'd make all three of mine!!!! ;-)

Happy Future Mr & Mrs Coley.......May the 4th ALWAYS Be With You xxx
